SAGE is a South Australian company that has established itself as a leading provider of industrial automation and control systems.

Established in Adelaide in 1994, Sage now has seven offices across Australia.

It employs around 250 people and has an annual turnover of $50 million.

SAGE supplies systems to businesses across a broad range of market sectors including automotive, airport, infrastructure, manufacturing, water, mining, waste, defence, food and beverage, and wine.

Its national team of more than 100 engineers and design draftsmen includes experience in electrical and mechanical design.

SAGE is involved in the development and commercialisation of new patented technologies, particularly for emerging export-oriented businesses in building products, waste compression, magnesium casting and papyrus development.

In the past six years it has won a number of major contracts with the Australian defence industry.

These include a $4.8 million RAAF runway lighting project at six bases around Australia and a submarine floating dock load monitoring system at Henderson in Western Australia.
