Transforming South Australia's Manufacturing Sector

On Tuesday 26 February 2013 DMITRE partnered with ATSE to present an event which explored how South Australia’s manufacturing sector can enter new and emerging markets.

Expert presenters from South Australia and beyond discussed the various ways that government, research institutions, education providers and industry can work together to help transform manufacturing in our State.

South Australia’s manufacturing strategy, Manufacturing Works, recommends companies focussed on developing high-value niche products form clusters. Clusters allow companies to pool their resources and work with research, development and education providers to develop new techniques, products and services that create a sustainable future for manufacturing in our State.

We want to keep the momentum from the event going, and make sure that some of these ideas become reality.

Continue the conversation around local manufacturing on Twitter using the hashtag #adelmfg.

Please download your copy of the presentations from the event, and consider how you might work with your industry peers to transform South Australia’s manufacturing sector.
