South Australia is well placed to capitalise on increased demand for water-management technology and services required to combat the effects of climate change around the world. The South Australian Water Industry Alliance's 250 water-related companies and organisations export expertise in these specialist areas to nations around the world.
A 2009 PricewaterhouseCoopers survey indicated water-related business is becoming one of the State's most important export sectors.
